The Spring Meeting of the Massachusetts Butterfly Club was held via Zoom on Saturday, April 9, 2022. Thirty-eight members and enthusiasts attended via Zoom.

Martha Gach led a brief business meeting. It was announced that there will be another Butterfly Institute held in July at Tower Hill Botanical Garden. Our treasurer Elise Barry gave a report on the club's finances.

Danielle Desmarais spoke about the Hessel’s Hairstreak project for 2022. If you'd like to be involved, contact Danielle at dldesmar@hotmail.com.

Garry Kessler spoke about the Acadian Hairstreak project for 2022. If you'd like to be involved, contact Garry at gkessler001@aol.com.

Our scheduled guest speaker had to back out at the last minute. Dave Small stepped up and gave an excellent presentation on the transformation of his back yard into nature preserve.

Thanks to the technical expertise and presentation skills of Dave Small. The meeting was saved!
