 The 3rd Annual Barbara J. Walker Festival at Broad Meadow Brook was held on August 14, 2010.

Sunny skies and active butterflies graced the festival. About 375 festival–goers enjoyed butterfly walks and talks, butterfly garden tours, music, crafts, butterfly stories, scavenger hunts, vendors, live caterpillars, butterfly art, and much more.

“This year’s butterfly festival was bigger and better than ever,” said Deb Cary, director of Broad Meadow Brook and the central sanctuaries. “This is really cool,” exclaimed one young visitor as she examined a large caterpillar.
